 Duxone Training Seminar: Duration: 3 days
At the end of the seminar delegates will be able to:
- Identify and prepare substrates
- Understand the use of different sanding grits
- Correctly use products i.e. all primers, thinners and hardeners
- Apply primers/primer fillers
- Work with the latest new products and application equipment
- Correctly use modern spray painting equipment
- Focus on topcoat applications
- Apply blend-in-techniques
- Identify and eliminate paint defects
- Correctly prepare and prime plastic substrates
- We will teach you to match colours perfectly from scratch, without having to rely on a colour formulation. With colour trends moving rapidly towards sophisticated paint finishes, painters require more in-depth knowledge in order to successfully obtain a perfect finish
- Understand the effects of OEM applications on colour
- Learn how to use all the Duxone colour tools
- Understand the toner range for solid, metallic’s and pearls
- Practical matching of solid and basecoat colours
- You are welcome to bring along any colour problems you are experiencing
Important Notes
- Course involve theory as well as practical work
- Delegates are requested to bring their own protective wear, while gloves and eye protection will be provided
- Bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance
- Cancellations must be made at least one week in advance to avoid a cancellation fee of 50%
- Cost per 3 day course is R1,000 (incl VAT). Course starts at 8h00 sharp and ends at 16h30
- No shows will be charged the full fee
- Courses are limited to 12 delegates
- At the end of the course delegates will be tested
